Visible Named Stars
α Sge Sham Although given the α (alpha) designation, this fifth-magnitude star is not the one in the constellation. That honour goes to γ Sge.
Other Interesting Stars
HD 231701 Uruk This ninth-magnitude star is known to have at least one exoplanet and is located in the vicinity of ε Sge.
HD 351766 Sansuna This tenth-magnitude star is known to have at least one exoplanet. It is found somewhat south of θ Sge.
Deep Sky Objects
M71 Long thought to be a dense open star cluster, it is now considered to be a young, loosely-concentrated globular cluster. It is visible only with optical aids.
