George F. Stellpflug

George F. Stellpflug, 77, Trempealeau, area farmer and employee several years at Brunkow's Saw Mill here, died Sunday at St. Francis Medical Center, La Crosse. The son of William and Anna Deeren Stellpflug, he was born in Galesville, Wis., April 7, 1903. He married Lucille Schindler April 23, 1931, at Trempealeau. She died March 19, 1980. He was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Trempealeau. Survivors are: (Private); 28 grandchildren; two brothers, Ambrose and Barney, Galesville, and a sister, Mrs. Gert Ebersold, Trempealeau. Two brothers, one sister, and a grandchild have died. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, the Revs. Bernard Henry and Walter Brey officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Trempealeau. Friends may call Tuesday 7-9 p.m. at Smith Mortuary, Galesville. A Rosary will be recited at 8. Pallbearers will be Harry Swartling, Howard Hare, Ervin Woestman, La Verne Bucholz, Raymond Lakey and Wilbert Selke.
