Chubb
Edson F. Chubb, 53, died Jan. 2, 1964. He is survived by the widow, Gladys,
of Klamath Falls; six brothers, William, Bonner's Ferry, Idaho, George,
Boise, Idaho, Arthur, Sand Point, Idaho, Myron, Dorris, Calif., Clarence,
Fall River Mills, Wis., Richard, Cumberland, Wis.; four sisters, Mrs.
Margaret Harkness and Mrs. Catherine Young, both of Spooner, Wis., Lottie
Stockman and Clara Evans, both of Sand Point, Idaho; and numerous nieces and
nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 4, at 2 p.m. in
O'Hair's Memorial Chapel with interment at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens.
Funeral for E. F. Chubb Held at Klamath Falls
Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Chubb were in Klamath Falls, Ore., last Saturday where
they attended the funeral of Mr. Chubb's brother, Edson F. Chubb, who passed
away suddenly on Thursday. Services were in charge of the Masonic lodge and
interment was in Klamath Falls cemetery. The deceased was known to quite a
few people in the Naples area where he had worked for the Brown-McFarland
Lumber company in the 30's. He had visited many times in Bonners with his
brother and family also, and was a caller here, with his wife on Thanksgiving
Day. A. J. Chubb and Mrs. Lottie Stockman, both of the Sandpoint area,
brother and sister of the deceased, accompanied the W. A. Chubbs on the trip
to Klamath.
Edson Chubb Rites Saturday in Oregon
Art Chubb, Sandpoint fire chief, Mrs. Alex Stockman, Kootenai, and Bill
Chubb, Bonners Ferry publisher, attended the funeral of their brother, Edson
F. Chubb, in Klamath Falls, Ore., Saturday. Rites were conducted by the
Masonic lodge. Mr. Chubb, a painting contractor who had visited Sandpoint
many times, suffered a heart attack Thursday while driving his car home from
his doctor's office where he had undergone an examination. Mr. Chubb, born
in Cumberland, Wis., came to Sandpoint with his parents in 1925, where he
grew up and attended local schools. He moved to Klamath Falls about 30 years
ago. Other survivors include his wife, Gladys; and brothers and sisters,
M/Sgt. George W., Mountain Home AFB, Idaho; Richard, Cumberland, Wis.; Mrs.
Margeret Harkness and Mrs. Harry H. Young, Spooner, Wis., and Myron, Dorris,
Calif. Also attending the services from here were Mrs. Bill Chubb of Bonners
Ferry; (Private).
