My pussycat miaows in the morning,
He wakes me up for breakfast,
He thinks he owns my little flat,
He thinks he is King Cat,
I try to tickle his belly,
But he bites me and laughs in my face,
But when I call him smelly,
He sulks and jumps in my welly!

He sits by the window,
Warmed by the sun,
Eyes full of fun as the morning awakes,
Stretching so wide,
Paws side by side,
His grace and beauty make my heart break,
He curls up by the window,
Watching the world,
Then into blissful sleep is lulled.
