46 LMi Praecipua The brightest star in the constellation does not have a Bayer designation, only a Flamsteed number. This high proper motion star is fourth magnitude.
Other Interesting Stars
HD 82886 Illyrian This eighth-magnitude star is known to have at least one exoplanet. It is located near the boundary with the constellation Lynx.
Meteor Shower Radiants
022 LMI Leonis Minorids There are no major meteor showers associated with this constellation. This minor shower is active in the last half of October and is thought to be associated with the comet C/1739 K1 Zanotti.
