Obituary : Melinda Frances Cook

Mrs. Melinda F. Hagadone, 80, died Tuesday night at the home of her son, George Hagadone. For the past several months she has been in bed following a stroke of paralysis. Mrs. Hagadone formerly lived at Lexington, Neb., Melrose, Wis., and Culbertson, Mont., coming here to live about seven years ago. She is survived by her three sons, Francis M. Hagadone of Winifred, Mont., Dugald C. Hagadone of Culbertson, Mont., and George I. Hagadone of Sandpoint and four daughters, Mrs. Mary E. Young, Los Angeles, Mrs. S.I. Irvin, Pontiac, Ill., Mrs. Ida Powell, Fresno, Cal., and Mrs. Myrtle Eberhart of Los Angeles. The funeral services were held from the Moon Mortuary Thursday at 2 p.m., Rev. Snow officiating. Interment was in Pinecrest Cemetery.

Aged Mother Suffered Paralytic Stroke Recently

Mrs. Melinda F. Hagadone, aged 80, who suffered a paralytic stroke several months ago and has since been in poor health, died last evening at the home of her son, George of Sandpoint. She has resided in Bonner County for the past seven years. Services are to held at the Moon chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Snow officiating. Mrs. Hagadone is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Mary F. Young of Los Angeles, Mrs. S.R. Irvin of Pontiac, Ill., Mrs. Ida Poyell of Fresno, Cal., and Mrs. Myrtle Eberhart of Los Angeles, Cal., and three sons, Francis M. Hagadone of Winifred, Mont., Dugald C. Hagadone of Culbertson, Mont., and George I. Hagadone of Sandpoint, Idaho.
